Feeling overwhelmed, going through a challenging transition, navigating a difficult relationship, struggling with being unmarried, or caring for an elderly parent? You may need a listening ear and someone to give you another perspective. I enjoy helping adults to affirm their identity and personality, find belonging, and process difficult emotions. I also work with families and loved ones of those who are aging or dealing with dementia. I’m a licensed psychologist and Christian counselor. I openly discusses issues of faith with those who wish to include it as part of the therapy process. My approach is client centered and collaborative. I focus on guiding you to where you want to go while identifying what is helpful and not helpful. I have experience working with adolescents and adults, individuals, couples, families, and groups through college counseling, community centers, group practice, and geriatric populations in rehabilitation facilities. My work has also been informed by my background in public health and my experiences with people while living in places including Cameroon, Senegal, Ghana, El-Salvador, France, and multiple U.S. states.
